Me & daaa languages..

You know, I’m not sure why, but I’ve always been amazed by the sounds, tones, and music of different languages from all over the world. It’s crazy how different they can be, yet sometimes so similar!

Whenever I learn a new language, I start to feel like I’m becoming part of that country, like I understand their culture better, and I don’t feel like an outsider anymore. And that’s one of teh sweetest moments ever!!

This happens in various situations from walking through the streets and interacting with the locals, to watching movies and TV shows, or even when I actually understand an email or letter in that language!

So, since I’m really into languages and the cultures behind them, I talk about three languages: Persian, English, and German on my site. If you’re as curious about this stuff as I am, I’m super happy we’ve found each other!

I’ve been teaching English since 2014. But ever since I moved to Germany, I’ve kind of put that on hold because life as an immigrant had me busy with a whole new world of new things. Trust me, it’s a whole journey!

I started off at Safir Language Academy, and after some years I was awarded the Exemplary Teacher Award based on the students’ votes. After that, with the help of my wonderful wife, we started our own language learning platform, English Sofar, to help people across Iran with their language learning journey.

Later, I became an IELTS instructor and took the exam several times myself as well. These are some of my best scores:

Some of maa good stuff 😀

I’ve been learning German on my own for a few years now, but I’m planning to get more consistent with it and hopefully join a class soon. I love language classes, not just because I learn faster there, but because it’s such a great way to meet new people. For me, every person is like a new book, and if I find it interesting, I’ll definitely pick it up and read it!

Persian is my native language. Since I left Iran, I’ve come to appreciate it a lot more. The way some Persian speakers put words together so beautifully really excites me, and I just want to keep improving my own Persian too.

Love to talk to you about the world of languages

If you’ve got a topic, idea or even a question, shoooooot!
